No impact on your existing insurance policies
First of all, it is important to note that these changes will not have any impact on your existing insurance policies. Your policies will continue to run, unaffected, up to the expiry date shown on your policy schedule.
What’s changing
QAccounting historically administered your insurance policies as an appointed representative of ours. Going forward, we have agreed to take direct responsibility for the renewal and ongoing administration of these policies.
The relationship between QAccounting and Qdos will continue. The change in arrangements will allow QAccounting to focus on the provision of accounting services, and will enable you to benefit from direct access to our team, access to a wider range of products, and your own online account through which you can access your policy documents and request changes to your policies.
Renewal process
You do not need to take any further action.
QAccounting will write to you approximately 30 days prior to your insurance expiry date to provide a reminder of your upcoming renewal. A member of our team will then contact you to discuss and process the renewal of your policies.
We will take you through a renewal application and provide a quotation for your next 12 months’ cover. If you are happy to renew on the proposed basis, cover will be bound for a further 12 months and new policy documents will be issued to you via email.
As part of the renewal process you will be set up with an online account, where you will be able to access copies of these documents.
